Dental Plan of DKV offers the solution !

Dental care

Are reimbursed at 80%1 after reimbursement from the Belgian legal health insurance :

  • conservative, orthodontic, parodontal treatments
  • prosthetic repairs (dental implants, crowns and bridges, inlay, onlay…)

Up to an annual maximum per insured person of :

  • €1000 for the 1st insurance year
  • €2000 for the 2nd insurance year
  • €3500 for the 3rd insurance year
  • €5000 from the 4th insurance year

These maximum amounts include a maximum reimbursement of €1000 per insured person per insurance year for both orthodontic and parodontal treatments, and a maximum reimbursement of €5000 per insured person for the entire duration of the insurance contract.

Insurable :

  • Entry age: all insurable persons who have not reached the age of 70 years
  • Medically assessed and accepted
  • Home and permanent and usual residence in Belgium
  • Benefit from the national health insurance fund

Qualifying period :

  • 12 months : parodontal treatments
  • 36 months : orthodontic treatments

Territoriality :

  • Belgium

Cancellation :

  • Customer : annually
  • DKV : never, except where provided for by the law

Specifications :

  • Plan Dental Care has an exclusively outpatient character.
  • When the insured person has not consulted a dentist in the course of the insurance year prior to treatment, dental care expenses for that insured person will be reimbursed at 50%.
  • Subscription to Plan Dental Care is based on an administrative questionnaire (Contact us for help) to be completed by the insurance broker, and a medical questionnaire to be completed by the dentist.

THE PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION TO THE PLAN DENTAL CARE

  1. Complete the form “Information required for the opening of a dental file”.
  2. After receipt of this document by our services, you will receive by returning e-mail the following forms :
    • Insurance proposition which you will have to sign and return to :
      • or by e-mail : pol.lescot[at]dkv.be
      • or by fax : + 32 (0) 65 874 876,
      • or by post : Bd Dolez 57 | 7000 Mons à votre meilleure convenance.
    • A document that you will have to give to your dentist and which will contain a data-processing key allowing him to open your file at DKV in order to introduce your dental medical information. The “dental cell DKV” will then proceed to the analysis of the risk that concerns you.
    (note : Children less than 3 years old are not concerned by the medical dental care.)
  3. This visit to a dentist of your choice is entirely for the account of DKV Belgium.
    You should nothing pay the dentist, the company will validate the payment as of reception of the medical informations.
  4. You can give us the e-mail address of your dentist and we will provide him with a practical guide to enter the DKV site in order to introduce your medical data.
